The Christian Education department at Central United Methodist Church
includes any aspect of learning in our Sunday School program and other
Christian learning circles that have been formed. The Christian
Education Committee meets monthly to make decisions with the pastor concerning
upcoming events, placement of Sunday School teachers, promoting volunteerism,
work on Vacation Bible School and brainstorming about programs that could
better meet the congregation’s spiritual needs.
Sunday School is from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and is offered to adults, youth and children. Check our
Sunday School page for a description of each class.
Bible Pathways is an orderly guide for reading through the bible. The guide lays out daily reading with summeries
to accomplish reading the entire Bible in one year’s time.
Vacation Bible School is a week of nurturing and teaching children of Jesus’ unfailing love. Watch for details when VBS will be coming in the summer!
Confirmation Class gives youth (6th grade and older) the opportunity to participate in church membership instruction.
Contact the Pastor for more details.
