Central United Methodist Church offers many avenues to serve the Lord and deepen your beliefs.
Sunday School Classes are offered for all ages. There are many opportunities for
adults, youth, and children to get involved in study, growth, and service. Our church will be blessed by the new perspective,
talents, and enthusiasm you bring to us, and you will be blessed as you begin to feel that you are a vital
part of our church family.
United Methodist Women is open to every women in the church wishing to expand their
fellowship, education, and service. The UMW is divided into groups which have monthly meetings, some in the
morning, and some in the evening.
United Methodist Men is open to every man in the church wishing to expand their
fellowship, education, and service.
Christian Education is a vital part of your spirital growth. Central United
Methodist Church offers many avenues to broaden your knowledge and deepen your beliefs in Jesus Christ.
The youth of Central are a fervent group of teens that are eager to follow
the path that Jesus has set forth. Many opportunities are avaiable for our youth to gather and serve the Lord.
The children are the foundation of the future Church. Central United Methodist Church
offers a wealth of opportunities to children of all ages.
Community Assistance and Repair Efforts (CARE) Ministry is a new ministry at Central and it speaks volumes abouth the commitment of our members to our mission statement: “making Christ the center of our lives.” As Christ would have us do, members of Central use this ministry to help the elderly and others in the community who are in need of help. This could be roof repairs, construction of a ramp for a handicapped member of the communtity or cutting and trimming yards. The ministry provides assistance regardless of the recipient’s church affiliation. We celebrate this outreach program led by Mr. Warner Bonderman.
Health Ministries is a team of caring Christians who are committed to the
promotion of optimum health in our faith community. We work to reflect Jesus with faith,
hope and love for restoration and maintenance of the body, mind and spirit.
Afterschool Program serves elementary and middle school children. Operating hours are 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
