Definitely, this very basic & uncomplicated method of outreach has been and continues to be used in 3rd world & developing countries. Americans in surburban & urban areas are too busy & sophisticated to outreach in this way. However, perhaps we can tweak this outreach method so it is workable in Salem, VA, or the greater Roanoke Valley, so outreach can be simplified. Perhaps it is the one-on-one approach, or is it the personal testimony which, I am certain, is part of this outreach method. Definitely food for thought in the Evangelism committee & in the church council. May the Lord continue to be present in the dialog.
